　　All eyes are on Guangzhou.As the final piece of Guangzhou’s world‑class“Tianhe Road–Zhujiang New Town”shopping area,the Machang site embodies the vision for Guangzhou’s future.On April 3,Yuexiu Groups officially launched the International Architectural Scheme Design of Machang Plot DK05 Project,inviting top design practices worldwide to bring international vision,forward‑thinking strategies,and creative design to this landmark,shaping a new icon for the future city of Guangzhou.

　　DK05地块位处马场东北角，东侧为跑马地花园、珠江商务大厦，南侧为待建住宅，西侧为DK01商场与Dk09中轴绿地公园，北侧紧邻黄埔大道与华南快速干线闸道，与地铁13号线马场站地下可直接联通，交通便利，昭示性强，与DK01、绿地公园共同构成马场的北门户形象。
　　Plot DK05 is at the northeast corner of the Machang site.To the east are Pao Ma Di Garden and Pearl River Business Building,to the south a future residential plot,and to the west the future DK01 shopping mall along with the DK09 central green park.On its north side,the plot directly faces Huangpu Avenue and the ramp of the South China Expressway.Underground,it connects directly to Machang Station on Metro Line 13,offering excellent transport connectivity and high visibility.Together with DK01 and the central green park,the plot forms the northern gateway of the Machang.
　　DK05地块用地性质为商业用地，总用地面积2.2万㎡，计容建筑面积8.9万㎡，其中地上8.3万㎡，地下6000㎡，地下车库约2万㎡，业态涵盖酒店、公寓、办公及零售商业。
　　Plot DK05 is for commercial use,with 22,000 m²site area,89,000 m²GFA(83,000 m²above,6,000 m²below),approx.20,000 m²underground parking,the program includes hotel,apartment,office,and retail.

　　报名要求
　　Registration Requirements
　　采用全球公开报名的方式，申请参赛的设计机构须具有独立法人资格，或是合伙制企业或其他组织，单位负责人为同一人或者存在控股、管理关系的不同单位，不得同时报名参赛。不接受个人及个人组合的报名；
　　The competition is open to design practices worldwide via public registration.Applicants must possess independent legal entity status(or be a partnership or equivalent).Entities with the same legal representative or with holding or management relationships shall not register simultaneously.Individual or team‑of‑individuals registrations are not accepted.
　　境内设计单位（指在中国境内注册的法人，下同）须具有中华人民共和国住房和城乡建设部核准的建筑行业（建筑工程）设计甲级及以上资质或建筑设计事务所甲级资质；
　　Domestic applicants(i.e.,legal entities registered in China)must hold Class A or above qualification in architectural industry(architectural engineering)design,or Class A architectural design firm qualification,approved by the Ministry of Housing and Urban‑Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China.
　　境外设计单位（指在中国境外注册的法人，下同）须在其所在国家或地区合法注册，具有相应设计许可。台港澳地区注册的公司按照境外申请人的资格条件要求执行；
　　Overseas applicants(i.e.,legal entities registered outside China)must be duly registered and hold relevant design permits in their home countries or regions.Applicants from Taiwan,Hong Kong,and Macao shall follow the same qualification requirements as overseas applicants.
　　主创设计师须主持过同类型项目，具有创新设计理念，且须直接参与国际竞赛全过程，以及参与主办方要求的重要节点会议（包括但不限于启动会、现场踏勘、成果汇报、评审答疑等），主创设计师最多只可指定2位。如在竞赛过程中发现主创设计师与报名材料不符，主办方有权取消其入围和获奖资格，并可根据相关规定追究其责任；
　　The chief designer(s)(maximum two)must have led similar projects and possess innovative design thinking.They are required to directly engage in the entire competition process,including key meetings(e.g.,kick-off meeting,site visit,presentation,review Q&A).Any discrepancy between the chief designer(s)participating in the competition and those named in the application may result in disqualification from shortlisting and awards,and the organizer reserves the right to pursue legal liability as applicable.

　　奖项设置
　　Award Settings
　　成本补偿。入围设计机构（第4-5名）按任务书规定报送竞赛成果文件并经审查符合竞赛要求的，每家各获得成本补偿费（含税）人民币60万元。
　　Cost Compensation(4th&5th place)–RMB 600,000 each(tax inclusive),upon submission of valid deliverables complying with the Design Brief.
　　优胜奖金。优胜单位（第2-3名）：每家各获得奖金（含税）人民币90万元。
　　Prize(2nd&3rd place)–RMB 900,000 each(tax inclusive).
　　深化设计费用。中选单位获得建筑方案深化设计合同。
　　Design Development Contract–Awarded to the selected winning team.No additional prize will be paid.
